As a non profit founded by Cisco, we collaborate to support the Networking Academy program.

Cisco Networking Academy

Cisco Networking Academy is a comprehensive e-learning program that enables students to develop valuable information and communication technology skills for increased access to opportunities in the global economy. Since 1997, Networking Academy has grown to reach a diverse population of approximately 600,000 students each year in more than 160 countries. All students receive the same high-quality education, supported by online content and assessments, performance tracking, hands-on labs, and interactive learning tools.

East Carolina University

The School of Education is supporting faculty positions to design mathematics certification programs for K-5 teachers.

GCR Custom Research LLC is a strategic market research company focusing on the technology industry. The company was originally formed in 1979 and has more than 27 years experience conducting primary research for Fortune 500 technology companies.

Guilford County Schools

Elementary and middle grades teachers are meeting weekly as collaborators in the design and implementation of K-5 mathematics online teacher professional development units. These teachers are also providing feedback of the use of technology for teacher communication.

ITU

ITU is the leading United Nations agency for information and communication technologies. As the global focal point for governments and the private sector, ITU's role in helping the world communicate spans 3 core sectors: radiocommunication, standardization and development. ITU also organizes TELECOM events and was the lead organizing agency of the World Summit on the Information Society.

Indiana University works with our evaluation team to examine the impact of the Academy curricula on student success and to create instructional materials for Academy Instructors.

Lesley

Lesley University offers undergraduate and advanced degrees that prepare women and men to become leaders in education, human services, the arts, environmental studies and a variety of other professional fields. Lesley is a national leader in quality teacher preparation. The university is home to a number of important centers and institutes that conduct research, help shape public policy, and provide continuing education and professional development opportunities across a wide range of disciplines. Faculty members in the Lesley School of Education are collaborating with us to create mathematics modules for K-5 teachers.

NDG are the creators of NETLAB+^® remote lab solutions for information technology training and distance learning. Since December 2006, Cisco Learning Institute has partnered with NDG to provide scholarships to Academy Students.

North Carolina Science, Mathematics, and Technology Education Center (SMT Center)

The North Carolina Science, Mathematics, and Technology Education Center (SMT Center) promotes and supports innovation in science, mathematics, and technology learning. Focusing on the state's elementary and secondary schools, the SMT Center works to provide all children in North Carolina with the necessary knowledge and skills to have successful careers, be good citizens, and advance the economy of the state goals increasingly dependent on a student's proficiency in science and mathematics.

Founded in 2002, the SMT Center advances its mission by serving as a catalyst for innovation and change in education; providing tools, learning methods, and technical help to educators; advocating for research-based instructional programs in schools; and recruiting community and business leaders to encourage and promote advanced science and mathematics learning in North Carolina citizens of all ages.

Panduit

Panduit, a global manufacturer of wiring and communication applications, are the sponsors of the Panduit Network Infrastructure Essentials (PNIE) course through the Cisco Networking Academy. Panduit is partnering with Cisco Learning Institute to extend scholarships to Cisco Networking Academy students.

UNDP

UNDP is the UN's global development network, an organization advocating for change and connecting countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help people build a better life. They are on the ground in 166 countries, working with them on their own solutions to global and national development challenges.

UNIFEM

UNIFEM is the women's fund at the United Nations. It provides financial and technical assistance to innovative programmes and strategies to foster women's empowerment and gender equality.

USAID

USAID is an independent federal government agency that receives overall foreign policy guidance from the Secretary of State. Their work supports long-term and equitable economic growth and advances U.S. foreign policy objectives by supporting: economic growth, agriculture and trade; global health; and, democracy, conflict prevention and humanitarian assistance. They provide assistance in four regions of the world: Sub-Saharan Africa; Asia and the Near East; Latin America and the Caribbean, and; Europe and Eurasia.

Unicon

Since the formation of Cisco Learning Institute in 1999, Unicon has partnered with Cisco Learning Institute to provide help desk, network operation, and software platform support activities. Unicon's core functions under the agreement include the operation of a 24-hours a day, 365-days a year, Help Desk that supports Cisco Learning Institute's partner instructors and students with training and support on program systems and processes.
