Translations
Cisco Learning Institute realizes that localized versions of course materials, assessments, and teaching resources are integral to enabling the success of global students.
To facilitate global learning, Cisco Learning Institute is partnering with the Cisco Networking Academy to translate CCNA Discovery, Exploration, and IT Essentials curricula into the following non-UN languages:
| Language | Curricula | Release Date |
|---|---|---|
| Hungarian | CCNA Discovery: Networking for Home and Small Businesses | September 2008 |
| Hungarian | CCNA Discovery: Working at a Small-to-Medium Business or ISP | October 2008 |
| Hungarian | IT Essentials: PC Hardware and Software 4.0 | To be determined |
| Korean | CCNA Exploration: Network Fundamentals | September 2008 |
| Korean | CCNA Exploration: Routing Protocols and Concepts | October 2008 |
| Polish | CCNA Exploration: Network Fundamentals | September 2008 |

Additionally, Cisco Learning Institute and the Cisco Networking Academy are in the process of translating teaching resources such as Interactive Course Guides (ICGs), Instructor Reference Guides (IRGs), and PowerPoint Presentations (PPTs). The development of these tools in multiple languages will benefit instructors and, ultimately, students in areas where English is not the primary language.

Translations are underway and teaching resources are now available in Spanish through Academy Connection for the following courses:
- CCNA Discovery: Networking for Home and Small Businesses
- CCNA Discovery: Working at a Small-to-Medium Business or ISP
- CCNA Exploration: Network Fundamentals
- CCNA Exploration: Routing Protocols and Concepts
Materials for the remaining courses will follow this summer. In the fall, Cisco Learning Institute will move forward with translations of teaching resources in Chinese, French, Arabic, and Russian.
